Community Partnerships
North Hills' unique Community Partnership Program has
been created with the goal of establishing meaningful
alliances with the state's leading non-profit
organizations. In its inaugural program, North Hills has
created alliances with

The design of North
Hills as a Midtown district with its outdoor dining and
easy "walkablity" has inspired an ongoing program of
entertainment typically found in an urban environment.
This may include entertainment that ranges from a single
saxophone player on the corner to a close-up magician on
the "Commons" to a soloist stationed on a second floor
balcony to street theater or a full orchestra.
To become a Community Partner, the organization must
demonstrate its ability to organize and stage an ongoing
program of visual or performing arts to be presented
throughout the year at North Hills.
To that end, the organization(s) selected for the
Community Partnership Program must be able to
demonstrate
. Creativity in thinking
. Willingness and ability to participate in
brainstorming
. Stability of mission
. Stability of leadership
. Effective leadership
. The manpower necessary (through staff, volunteers or
performers) to sustain a year-long program and the
ability to keep the promise of performances or events.
. Member demographics which are complementary to North
Hills' shopper base
. A need to reach our visitors with its message
. An understanding of the retail environment
. Media partnerships in place
. The ability to make North Hills visible in its venue,
advertising and appropriate print materials
. Something magical to bring to North Hills.
The goal of our unusual events program is to create new
traditions through the presentation of a host of major
events and the establishment of a unique atmosphere with
the use of ambient entertainment - all combining to make
our visitors feel they're likely to find something going
whenever they visit North Hills.
